Actually this wasn't listed but I really feel the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said have a sincere heart to really want to Serve. It sounds so easy but some people can be difficult, they nwant things done their way and how they want it. They want it now!! They can be very nice or very stern everyone has different personalities but if your heart is to Serve as if you were erving Jesus as Mary of Bethany serve Jesus... Than it will all fall into place.
I also think building a relationship with the Leader you are covering is important. You want to be aware of their like and dislikes.. their habits good or bad. But more than anything, I look at it as an opportunity to Learn... As if you were an apprentice... You can gain sooo much knowledge, wisdom and understanding from your Leader do not pass up the opportunity...
Lastly I believe building up your Authority is key. We are the covering of the Leader. Sometimes we are called gto this position because our Leaders see that God has blessed us with an Authoritative power and great discernment & judgment. We need to be able to com e against any power that wants to exalt itself above the power of God...
