I serve as an armor bearer to my First Lady (Co-Pastor). I started out in Pastoral Care and was asked to be armorbearer about 6 months ago. At my former church I was a Sunday School teacher for the childrens class, ages 8-11.  I was also on the praise team, and was assistant church secretary.

I serve as armorbearer (I call it personal assistant) to my first lady.  It is an awesome experience and I pray that I am able to flow naturally and spiritually as God leads and as my first lady desires.

At my previous church, I was doing arts ministry (dance, step, acting, directing, writing), taking ministerial classes, and intercessor. Now, I serve as a dance ministry leader (2 years)  and media ministry (3 months). My current pastor desires for me to walk closely with him.

I serve as armorbearer and as Minister. It is in me to be a leader in the body but I have a lot to learn. This place of armorbearer is an awesome place to be but also a vital and delicate position in the ministry. It requires so much. One thing in particular is a walk of solitude to keep ears open to hear, eyes open to see and a purified heart and mind. This cannot be achieved being in a group. Great people walk alone with the Lord. This place has been difficult at times. However I am maturing in this area.

I serve at St. Paul New Life Outreach Ministries, which is located in Waycross, Ga. There i am assigned as Armorbearer and studying to be a minister. I serve on several teams also, planning team, education, youth ministry, church newsletter and also secretary for our mens group. My area of most concentration is that of  Armorbearer. I have served here for three years and i love serving God this way. Armorbearers get alot of darts thrown at them, and no one takes the time to study up on what we are called to do by God. I believe those that do so should really ask questions before trying to destroy a persons name and more importantly questioning God's word on a persons life.

I serve as Director of the Armour Bearer staff. We have a staff of 20...married couples and singles combined. I've been in this newly appointed position of Director for 8 months and it has all moved extremely fast for me. Trying to stay built up in the word, manage God's people and encouraging them to serve in order, and serve my Pastors has been an exciting role. I'm here on your site to learn how to be a better leader, how to serve the people that I lead, and how to take on this area of ministry like a Pastor. Really learning how to feed the people the word, so they wont get weary in what they've been appointed to do in serving our Pastors. I really want to get this area organized and running decent and in order. I don't want to be a harsh leader, but sometimes folks make it difficult to lead. How do I establish myself and them in the word, so they know the important tasks that we've been assigned to?
I am also the Director of our Women's Fitness Club ministry. I've been in that position for about a year.

I believe my pastor has me starting to study this class because he is seeing this ministry developing in our church. I currently do not have a position in the church.

1. Where do you serve in the local church? How long and briefly tell us what you think of your position?
I have been in this church for 2 years and I have been my Apostle Armour bearer , I want to learn more about this ministry and especially the warfare I have to fight for her.  I am excited but I think sometimes it is more than just getting things it is more like covering.

I along with a another brother has recently been elevated to the office of an Elder.  However, when God restored me I started serving in the capacity of an Armor Bearer even though I did not know what to do.  I knew it had to be a calling by God because all I wanted to do was serve.  It was so amazing because if my Pastor was hurting I felt the pain, he never had to ask God just led me to do anything.  Within my current assignment, I serve as an Armor Bearer and an assistant to my Pastor and the Congregation.   It's truly a sacrific, but I know it is the call that God has on my life.  "It is a Mandate that I be found faithful"  Blessing
