Our names are Moses & Sally Marrero. We live in East Chicago, Indiana and we are new to this site and wanted to introduce ourselves. We arrived at another church and have been members for 2 years now. Our Pastor has given us the honor of being overseers of the Armorbears in our church. WE are excited about the chalenge and we are praying for God's guidence as we move in this direction. We look forward to learning and moving in the direction that God has put us in.

My name is Mark and I am from sunny Perth in Western Australia. I have walked with the Lord for some 20 odd years and have served as a musician all that time. God has stirred me for the past year to become and armor-bearer. Not too sure what that entails and hope to learn what it is and what I am being called to do.

I use the title Armed2Serve.  I fell in love with Jesus in May of 2007.  I have faithfully read the word, prayed and studied to show myself approved.  The position of Armorbearing came to me without me seeking.


I just felt the need to serve my First Lady, I felt that she was overwhelmed, overworked, and needed prayer.  So I started doing things for her that were obvious to me.  Make sure she had water, carrying things for her, and praying for her, Pastor and thier children.   Eventually the security team at our church spoke to me about being on the team and mentioned that I would serve her.   At first I declined, I needed to pray about it the position. 

After being lead to read a book of fiction about Armor Bearing, I was sharing the story about the character with a friend, when my First Lady overheard our conversation.  She said to me, their is more to Armor Bearing than people think and she gave me information to find this website. 

I agreed to take the position as Armor Bearer, because I received confirmation.  The security team asked me for a code name for First Lady, and I told them a name.  As God showed up and showed his direction, I called her by the name and her children laughed.  The children said, that name is Mom's favorite thing, and we love you doing this for her, she said you make her feel calm.

So that is how I came to be a Armor Bearer.

Now I am on a journey to learn more so that I can be the best servant possible.
