What qualities qualified David for his service to King Saul as an armorbearer?

David had a relationship with God. He trusted God and took God at His Word. David had the Faith and confidence that no matter what he faced, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob- the I AM would give him the victory.
David was devoted to the God.
David was a worshiper, a Warrior in prayer first them in the natural.
David understood that he could loose his life if he lost respect for God or for the Anointed and Anointing of God.

King David arrived at his destination by not giving up when adversity struck him. He started out from humble beginnings and did not forget, King David met his challenges head on and pressed on to victory. King David was already loyal, and dependable, so this helped propel him in his servitude to the King.

David's obediance and faithfulness to God was the qualification.  So it beame easy for David to serve Saul because it was unto the Lord.  David was a man of great faith and was after God's heart.  God delighted himself in David because even though he sin he showed a sincere heart of repentance.  He would confess before the people to be open and honest to not lead them astray he led by example in his kingship of Judah after Saul death.
