4. A principle mentioned in Armorbearing Cultivated - "Don't despise small beginnings" God warned us not to forget. What small beginning are you determined not to forget?

I won't forget how uncertain I am of the duties of an armorbearer once I have the knowledge of it...and how I went seaching on the internet to find as much information as I could (and found this class) before my first day of duty!  I won't forget therefore I will remain humble when I may have to impart what I learn to others.

One of the things that God had warned me not to forget, is that I am to be a servant and not the leader. I am to put my leaders vision and purpose before my own. One of my favorite scriptures is John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."

When pondering this question the first thing that comes to mind is the mustard seed.  Although it is the smallest of seeds, it reaps the greates harvest.  I am often reminded by the Lord, not to consider how small the task, but think of the reward.  What may seem insignificant to others, can be your catipult into destiny.

Secondly, God reminds me not to forget where I came from.  He often reminds me that the service that He allows me to provide to others will also, be provided to me and how I conduct myself in this is how it will come back to me.

This is interesting because my Pastor quotes this quite often. The small beginning I am determined not to forget is my church. It is a small store front church that has been in ministry for 10 years however, we did not have our own building until five years ago. So I guess you would say it is still in the growing stages. I came from a big church which is why God led me to a smaller church so that I can see how it all begins.

To always pray and because Jesus came not to be served but to serve and gave His life for many just like he was a servant so shall we be also.

GOD showed me that serving is a prerequisite before GOD leads you into greater ministry.

God has warned me not to forget the principle of helps.  God has blessed me to be a blessing to others.  In whatever way I can serve someone else, I must be willing to.  There is no limit to the acts of service, it could be as simple as a smile.  In whatever way, I can show the love of God to someone else, I believe God will be pleased.

to remain humble, to be spiritually attentive (natural attention is easy) the real test is if u can catch your leader in the spirit....Most importantly you are always on duty.

The small beginning that I am determined not to forgot is that God placed me in this position and that I need to do it with all of my heart. Despite trials, uncertainty, and resistance. I MUST assist in fulfilling the vision of my leader.

Being asked to collect the offering before i had made a commitment to Christ.  It made me feel like I was worth something.
