The small beginning that I will always remember is my inspiration for taking this course: my brother. My desire to protect and cover him came over me on his last week before he went to Basic; he is an upcoming pastor. Just see how God connected us at the Beginning (we both refer to it as the Beginning) and how He has expanded us to a covenant relationship like David and Jonathan is amazing to the both of us. Out of this relationship came the desire to know more about armorbearing and effectively covering your leader.

God warned me never to forget the ransom that was paid by Jesus' shed blood on the cross. He died so that I might live.

I won't forget that it was God who called me to be an armorbearer or personal assistant to my pastor. Therefore my obedience and allegiance is to God first.  If it wasn't for God's call, I would not be in the position where I am.

A principle mentioned in Armorbearing Cultivated - "Don't despise small beginnings" God warned us not to forget.

What small beginning are you determined not to forget?

In the beginning of service as armorbearer one lesson learned was that my connection to my leader is not of the flesh but of the spirit. In other words, we have come to know one another through the Spirit ( the leading and direction of the Spirit of God) and not by the time we may or may not spend together. My instructions come from God more than through a conversation with my Pastor. Specifics or clarity may come from her. But it is vital to the ministry of serving my leader that I stay in tuned to the Holy Spirit that we may flow together to do the work He has assigned for us to complete.

Spending five years off and on in a hotel because of financial struggles. It was challenging living in a hotel trying to survive from paycheck to paycheck. It was a true wilderness experience and one that I choose not to forget. I know it was no one but God that saw me and my family through it.

Not to forget that i must always see God and not the man. Not to worship the man or woman of God. And also to make sure when God look's at me he see's himself.

Don't despise small beginnings in the since of Armorbearer.  I have served behind the scenes for seven years and no limelight was given.  People called me a true Woman of God.  I impacted lives on the job and in the community.  Being called to Armorbearer is small however I know God is preparing me for greatness.

Praise God

I WON'T FORGET TO BE A FAITHFUL AND HUMBLE SERVANT. THAT I WAS CALLED BY GOD TO SERVE MY LEADER AND NOT BY MAN. I WON'T FORGET TO SERVE MY LEADER JUST AS SERVING UNTO JESUS.
