The devil tries to use deception to keep me off track. He also uses fear.

The enemy comes to bring division and get one out of line with the plan of God. He brings situations in our lives to cause us to become disrespectful to the authority God has placed over us to keep us accountable, within His boundaries, in and under the flow of God's authority.
