1. What parable did Jesus tell which demonstrated our need to volunteer?

Matthew 20:1-16 is a parable of workers in the vineyard. The hoseholder goes out to hire workers throughout the day. Just at the end of the day he comes across some just standing around and asks why are you just standing around and not working. They respond because no one has asked us to work. Here is a lesson taught by Jesus to not wait for some one to ask you to help when He has told you what to do. Go and offer yourself to serve and then allow your Leader to give you an assignment. Your Leader will not ask if you want to be busy in the Kingdom. It is up to you to go to your Leader and let them know you are available when they have something for you to do.
