God has placed persons in places of authority to act as His voice in this time. We should respect them because this determines our level of respect for God.

I think that God wants renewed respect for His authority sturcture because the church has gotten far away from what his order is. Thus resulting in public exposure and it is God's will to cover us as long as we are dwelling in the secret place ( he that dewlls in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty, Psalms 91:1). God wants us to be honest and truthful with him about everything and the church has gotten away from this. Nobody is preaching about sin and Hell anymore. We need to get back to respecting his authority structure and have a reverent fear of God.

If we are unable to have respect for the authority God has given us in the natural that we can see, how can we respect God spiritually whom we cannot see.

Without God's authority structure there will be too much self will and eventually chaos.

Rom 13:1 ¶ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

There should be a renewed respect for God's authority structure because God's glory (in all its fullness) is soon to come and with His glory comes judgement. And with His judgement comes a verdict, life or eternal damnation. It is our responsibility to LIVE A LIFE OF HOLINESS rather than preach it.

We do not preach enough about hell and the consequences of being a sinner. We also do not read our bible enough to know the promises of God and what our right is as a Christian person and to tell the devil in his place. There must be structure and respect in place so that there is a chain of command. Our society now is so about doing your own thing and not been accountable for your actions. We must get back to the basic of Christianity and not religion and do exactly what God asked us to do. “Love thy neighbor as you love yourself” and not forget the 10 commandments. They are our guidelines to go by.

Renewed respect suggests that respect was lost. I believe this is saying that the church has lost it prominence in society and the only way that God will hear and respond is if we return to our first love, Christ and the church.

Because God is the one who puts people in authority over us and to be blessed we must respect/obey the authorities God has placed over us.

because when we are in the will of God there is protection, healing, deliverance, the power of God being demostrated and much more. The kingdom of God is about order. Pray for those who has rule over you.

God wants to get His church back in order, and it start with us respecting those God has put over us. Everyone wants to be common with their leaders, what is on them is not common.

We are representatives of God, since the ONLY authority is God's, we need to show the nations that we will respect, pray for , intercede, etc for those in authority over us. We must show that the word of God has not be watered down, it is just as powerful today as it was when written. God has not changed, nor can he change. He has given us a charge and we can only accomplish it by taken on the character of God. When we wholeheartly do this, there will be renewed respect for God's authority structure. (We must walking in the spirit and love)
