I serve because I truly believe God led me to the church I am now a member of. I was born and raised at one church and a faithful member for 40 years. I met the first lady of my current church and I saw how much she had to do in her role as first lady, minister of music, pastor wife, mother, grandmother, piano teacher. One day while taking piano lessons I just said "let me help you." I felt lead of the Lord and as I started helping with small things periodically, and as I started visiting their church services more and more and eventually joined that ministry, my pastor appointed me to serve as armorbearer to the first lady. I have a passion for my first lady and it is my desire to please God in my service to her.

I am called to do what I do. And I am in a time of preparation. I can't not serve. I can't not help. Even though I am always learning through serving sometimes, my service comes in the form of a gentle reassuring word to the one I serve. It's just what I have to do.

3. Why do you serve as a leader, pastor, armorbearer, assistant, helper, or volunteer
I am guided by God, he said he will never leave me alone. I am still long enough hear him. I wan to be fit for the Masters use. I asked God to show me me as he sees me. The steps of a good man is ordered by the Lord.

I serve as my Pastors Armor Bearer because God called me to that position. Although we are seperated by many miles, God has allowed me to serve though, prayer, e-mailes, phone calls, and visits. He has called me into a Help ministry and this is how I can help and serve Him.

I have a heart to serve where I am at because God has been so good to me there. It was there I was set free, healed, and delivered. Through it all, God never left my side. When I looked around God was there for me. Because God has done so much for me and my family I look and I consult God on ways in which I could do a service for Him and besides we were created for good works. The more God do for me the more I want to do for God.

I serve where I am because I believe in the vision of our house and consider it a privilege to do what I can to help bring it to pass. While I believe that there are other areas that the Lord will be maturing, hospitality is just in me, so I gladly use it for the Kingdom.

Because God has placed in the responsibility on me and because I love God I am willing to do it.
Testimony: When I found out about people on the dance ministry were talking about me, it upset me. In my room, crying, I said to the Lord "I will continue to do it because I love you...that's the only reason that I will continue to dance for you!"
I learned from that situation that no matter what happens as man is concerned, I have to remain faithful to what God has given me.

I serve as Minister and armorbearer because it is my assignment from the Lord. I desire to please Him. As Jesus said it is my meat to do the will of the Father.
