I am called to this position and this place by God and this is where I should be until He directs me somewhere else.

I serve because I was led and then called. My Pastor saw some qualities in me that I didn't see in myself. As a child I always said I would never be involved in a church. I just want to be a bench warmer and was content in doing so. However, God has a different plan for me.

Because I feel called first and foremost. Also because GOD has placed agape love in my heart and I want to do whatever is needed to help and advance the person I feel  called to be an armorbearer to.

I love what Donna said, that pretty much sums up how I feel!
"Because I feel called first and foremost. Also because GOD has placed agape love in my heart and I want to do whatever is needed to help and advance the person I feel  called to be an armorbearer to."
I serve because God called me and because he has placed this incredible love and loyalty in my heart towards my Pastor.

So that my pastor can concentrate on hearing from God and not have to be concerned about small details.

I serve where I serve because this is where God has me for this season of my life and until He tells me to move, I will stay here.

I serve where I am for two reasons: I am needed and my future depends on what I effectively glean now.

God gives all of us talents to use for his Kingdom. Some has 1 talent, some a few talents, and some many talents. God expects us to use them for the building of the Kingdom of God. I do it because God requires it of me according to 1 Corinthians 12: 27-28 (27. Now  you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28. And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues.)

The Lord has called me to serve my Pastor as his amor bearer.  The  Lord has filled me with so much love for my Pastor and his family, that it is a delight to do so.
