In prayer God speaks exactly what he wants, as I speak, verses in my spirit, and it quickens my actions to be immediate instead of pondered. Thus obedience is immediate, not timid (or disobeyed).

5. The author made the statement, "Prayer prepares you for anointed service." If you agree, how has prayer prepared you for anointed service?
I agree. Prayer gets me out of the way and my focus is more clear on Kingdom order.

Prayer allows me to prepare myself for service to God and for my church. It sets the tone for what God wants to do in my life to use me. It allows God to point out things in my life that I need to take care and get my own house cleaned up. Prayer is the communication line between me and God. God says to ready in season and out of season; to study and show thy self approved. If you ever wonder why God uses you only occasionally, it may be that your relationship is only occasionally and you need to get a closer relationship with God and let some other things go in your life. Some are small and some are big one. God is waiting on you to give EVERYTHING to him and use you to the potential you have in Christ. You need to understand the “Power of your Calling.”

I agree. Before entering a church service I begin with prayer. It prepares me to be a vessel that God can use, and if I've already spent time with God before service the anointing flows quicker and stronger upon me.

In prayer we pour out of ourselves our faults, misgivings, shortcomings to GOD we communicate to Him our desires and concerns. We humbly submit to hearing his will and desire for our lives and the directions that He would have us to take.

Prayer is my power source from God, I communicate with God, and He tells me what to do and where go.

communicating with God through prayer has prepared me to be more sinsitive and alart in the spirit. Makes it easier to worship and praise God. Allow you to connect to the body, even to detect whats going on in the spirit.

Prayer allows me to be open to the Holy Spirit, so that He may reveal things to me.
