Love is the greatest gift that you can have as a person. It is the foundation for everything you do in life. 1 Corithians 13 (Love 1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.) This chapter sums up the meaning of love and what is can do for you in your life, your ministry, your relationships, everything...

The greatest commandment is to love. If we don't have love then how can the Lords anointing flow through us in giftings. Without out love in us how can we say we are a child of God, when everything about him is love.

If you don't excerise your gift out of love and with a pure heart, you are just doing something.

If we don't have love we won't do anything for God. The gifts can't be used for building up or edifing the saints without first love. You won't help anyone without love because love covers a multitude of sins and if we don't have the love we will look at one anothers sins and be selfish

according to the word of God, love covers a multitude of sin. If we do not love others, we can be very judgemental and mean. Having gifts with this type of attitude who wants to listen to you anyway. By the way how can you love God whom you have not seen and not him whom you have seen. God is love therefore we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves in order to minister to them with a sincere heart.

4. What did the Apostle Paul mean when he said, "The gifts are useless in your life if you don't have love? I believe Paul meant that Love should be the glue that binds all gifts. If you don't love God or His people what are the gifts doing for the Kingdom. God's gift was Jesus Christ which was given as a gift for salvation and reunion to God Himself. Without this type of selfless love we are not operating in the "true gift" from God.

God is love, without love your gifts are useless, and if you are trying to use the gifts without love it's vain.

God is love, we are all his people, and He loves us all. We strive everyday to be like Him, so we have to love others, it is not a choice.

Love is the most import fruit of spirit you need, without love you can not do anything. You have to love to be obey, have faith, to do anything. God is Love, we are made in his image LOVE

1 Corinthians 13:8 "Love never fails. But whether there are tongues,they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. Love is the most mangnficent manifestation of the gifts. So if you dont' have love you can't manifest your other gifts.

Well, what is it to have all these gifts and you do not have love. You are like a sounding brass and a tickling symbol. You are only make a lot of noise. If you do not have love you have yourself nothing. Love is the ultimate fruit that every Christian should have to do an effective work for Him.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:13 "But the greatest of these are love." It is imperative that we operate in love because God is love; we have to operate in love when it is concerning our giftings because we would have to consider and minister to someone else's needs;
For example: If so-and-so hurts you by gossip and lying on you behind your back, you have to operate in love and forgive them and still minister to them like they never hurt you.
