4. What did the Apostle Paul mean when he said, "The gifts are useless in your life if you don't have love?

1 Corinthians 13 describes Love or Charity as: patient, kind, not jealous, not boastful or proud, not rude, does not demand its own way, not irritable, keeps no record of being wronged, never glad about injustice and rejoices when truth prevails, never gives up, never looses faith, always hopeful, endures through every circumstance, will last forever while giftings pass away.
Chapter 14 instructs how love works- and shows that gifts loose value when love is not present. Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts especially prophecy which speaks things revealed of God.

 Love is who and what God is. He loved us so much He gave himself for us. We are to Love as He did. but one cannot love God unless he receives God/ Jesus as the Lover of our soul. Only then can we learn to love our neighbor as our self and consider them before our flesh. Love is a quality all Christians must operate in from now to eternity.

Without love there's nothing! The greatest of all gifts is love...it's a must have!

GOD IS LOVE. YOU CAN'T EFFECTIVELY OPERATE IN THE GIFTS HE'S GIVEN YOU WITHOUT HIM (LOVE).
