An armorbearer is one who is designated to serve and assist his leader. This includes the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the ministry. An armorbearer is to go before the leader and make the way so that the leader is able to fulfill that which the Lord has called them to do.

Armorbearering to me is not just allowing your leader to be you leader but also allowing yor leader to be your ministry. By this I mean notjust serving there physical needs but also serving their spiritual needs by praying for them and there families. Praying in your private prayers but also before sevice and during service! Giving them encouragement and unconditional love!!

Armour-bearer an officer selected by kings and generals because of his bravery, not only to bear their armour, but also to stand by them in the time of danger. They were the adjutants of our modern armies (Judg. 9:54; 1 Sam. 14:7; 16:21; 31:6).

I have learned that in the early days the armor bearer actually carried the ARMOUR of his master to battle. While we are not in physical battle today, we must still according to Ephesians 6:13 - we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places. Thus, while we may carry his/her bible to the pulpit, we must also carry them in prayer daily. Morning noon and night. An armour bearer is also a body guard, in the physical and in the spirit. Personal assistant - from body guard to clerical work. Anything needed to be done, we must end ourselves.
