I am in constant prayer and I read God's Word regularly. I want to incorporate fasting more. I believe that once I incorporate all three together with total obedience (faithfully attending all services) the anointing will remain hot. I am faithful in several areas of ministry especially Sunday services but during Thrusday night bible study I am not as faithful in attendance. Thus, I believe faithfulness is also tried in with the anointing. But one can be anointed and still do not live a righteousness life. The bible says, "Did not we heal in your name, teach in your name, and did we not prophesy in your name." Jesus said, "I never knew you."

This is something that is still being groomed in me.  I believe that by communicating with God (speaking and listening), studying and making sure that what I am putting in myself line up with the will of God help with that.

I would examine myself concerning certain areas; I can only speaking for dance ministry as of right now...

When it comes to dance ministry, I would monitor my study time and my preparation time with a particular dance piece or pieces; I would examine the excellence of it; I would notice my desire to be God's presence and my time in prayer and with His Word.

When I begin to notice me getting low, I would ask God for Him to refill my fire and I would go to a dance conference or workshop...it would help me get my passion back to operate even more in the anointing...

By never losing my focus on whose I am. I was bought with a price and I never forget that. I have a high and mighty calling on my life and I keep my eyes focused on Jesus.

1. How do you monitor your zeal? What steps have you taken to keep your anointing and zeal hot?

Ways to monitor zeal is to stay in position of prayer, fasting, studying the Word of God. These three things is what helps one to keep focus and sensitive to the voice and direction of the Holy Spirit. Without constant communication with God- staying in His presence, it is very easy to get lost in the storm- To not know what to do from one moment to the next. The Word says to guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life. We cannont get caught up in self or flesh or what is going on in our lives and allow the power of the Word and the realm of the Spirit to decrease in our lives if we are going to be strong and of good courage knowing that it is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Living God all things will be done and completed. To fall short in prayer, fasting, studying the Word is to allow zeal or passion for the Kingdom to decrease and focus to go to the problem and not on the problem solver, our sustainer, and keeper.

When I get excited about anything that has to do with the Lord...that's how I measure my zeal! I truly love the Lord and anytime I can spend time in the Word...that's what I do. I continue to pray and stay in my Word. I spend my time with people of God to stay "tuned" into the Holy Spirit and that's what keeps me going.
