The two men in the New Testament who started out as ministers of helps but later became Evangelists are Stephen and Phillip.

In the lesson, you asked another question: Do you think you are called to another level of ministry beyond Helps or are you called to stand strong within Helps?

I am a helper by nature and it started out as my mother actually forcing me to help an old lady who lived down the hall from us in the projects. I did her grocery shopping as a teenager and I also went with her to church. I must admit that I didn't like it because I was a teenager and this lady was old. Little did I know that this is the direction my life would take as an adult in the ministry of Helps. I never knew anything about gifts growing up in a Baptist church because it was never preached upon at that time.  As an adult moving into the Apostolic Faith, I am learning that there are many gifts in the body of Christ that can help the ministry to grow. I travel with my First Lady & Pastor to different preaching engagements, I print the bulletins and was recently promoted as a trustee on a junior level. What all of this means in the future I don't have a clue. Nevertheless, to God be the Glory.

In Acts 6 :5 Stephen and Philip amongue others were given the job of waiting on tables . Later in chapter seven and eight it tells us both men were spreading the gospel  .

Stephen & Phillip

I believe I am called to another level beyond helps when GOD says it is time for me to be released. I beleive this release will come in part by the character that I allow the LORD to form in me through service.  Until then I am very pleased to be called by GOD to serve and am finding blessings abounding. Even if HE would decide in HIS sovereignity not to release me that is fine because when I am where HE wants me great things happen.

It was Stephen and Phillip.

I believe that I am called to a higher level of service to God.  We serve a God of excellence and I am striving to be a woman of excellence!!
