Guidelines for Equipping
the Saints Study Forum
Here are a couple
of guidelines for using the Forum. You must register at the
Equipping the Saints Study Forum before you can participate, so
don't forget to do that. Remember ...
- No
Denomination Bashing. This study group believes in and practices
the unity of the Church. We come from many different backgrounds and traditions
-- Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed, Mainline Protestant, Pentecostal, Baptist,
Non-demonational, denominational, to name a few. Some may not yet have become
Christians. Thus we discourage criticizing other denominations. Our focus,
service and unity is in Jesus Christ and the Word of God.
- Practice
a gentle, loving Spirit. You may not agree with everyone's opinion
you see on the Forum. Feel free to disagree in love and state your reasons.
This way we can learn from each other. But if your motive is to set everyone
straight, please don't bother. Critical and Judgmental comments are not welcome,
and posters whose comments don't demonstrate a loving spirit will be removed
and banned without notice. If you notice such a comment and we haven't please
email us and let us know.
-
Removing Comments. We
trim comments on the Forum occasionally, so don't be offended if your comments
aren't listed forever. We and our visitors enjoy hearing from you so it will
only be if we deem it necessary.
-
Stay On Topic.
It's important not to wander off-topic in this Forum. If your comment isn't
on the topic of the Bible text we're studying, please "hold that thought."
This isn't a "Christian chat" but a focused Bible study. Even so,
we'll try to make sure we add a topic for quick tips and insights at the end
of each study.
-
Be Discrete.
Share carefully, realizing that many other people will be reading. Don't
share things that are too personal. Though you'll give your e-mail to
register as a Forum member - it will be hidden unless you request to reveal
it, please don't share your e-mail address openly in your Forum postings,
since that will get you picked up by spambots and added to a spam list. But
if you'd like to e-mail another Forum member you can do that going through
the Forum itself.
- No
ADS, Promotions, website addresses within user names. We encourage
you not to waste your time. All sign-ups and/or posts of this kind will be
deleted without notice. We also encourage all legitimate Bible study forum
students to report any abuse of our policy or posts of this kind. With your
help, we will create an Internet atmosphere that God can use to impact the
lives of His people.
Thank you. Have a blessed
study.

and supporters in the local church,

P.S.
Special Note to Old Forum members: Thank you for your past
participation. You may know or may not know - we had to disable the old forum
once again until we could figure out how to get a handle on the spam. It was
not designed to give place or voice to shameless ads, hate and porn. So here
we are again, giving it another try. This time some features are disabled and
others protected to avoid the problem again. We offer our most humble apologies
but you will have to sign up again if you want to participate. I sure you hope
you do; its going to be fun hearing from people all over the world! So don't
miss out - see you in the forum. --earma CLICK
