God The Covenant Keeper Part 2

Not long ago, I was meditating on the words, "What's given to us by God is ours and our children's to keep." Meaning the scriptural words, the
Rhema words, the possessions of faith are ours to live by, war by and even gain victory by. So in my mind every Scripture we learned as children
and every scripture we learned through experiencing the Word of God as an adult is ours to live by.
I remember as a young Christian, the Holy Spirit would steadily prompt me to hide the word of God in my heart. Even now just as Joshua was
commanded to meditate on the Word day and night to gain success. So we are commanded to mutter and chew on the principles of God's word until
they become a reality in our life and most importantly gain the success we crave.
I've been excited to weigh in on this topic. The words of God the Covenant Keeper from Rev. Brown encouraged us with a couple of weeks ago became
alive even more because of the covenant Father God has made with us. You may have noticed the Word of God is filled with God's promises and most
of all his covenant. The group of books in the old and new testament is often referred to as the old covenant and the new covenant.
This subject is so vast and dear to God's heart, that I won't get to go into detail here in this little blog. But I did want to share a couple of
promises that we all can use in our lives right now.
1. God always remembers...
He has made his miracles unforgettable. The LORD is merciful and compassionate. 5 He provides food for those who fear him. He always remembers
his promise. -Psalms 111:4, 5
2. God is not unrighteous to forget.
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you shown toward his name, in that you served God's people, and
still do serve them. -Hebrews 6:10
3. God does not lie. If he said it, he will do it.
God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and
will he not make it good? Numbers 23:19
4. God's words prosper...
so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
5. God's words will never pass away...
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. -Matthew 24:35
So, if not already get to know your heavenly father through his covenant. He's compassionate and kind. He's faithful; he's true. God is renewing
His covenant today with his people through Christ. Open your heart and receive Him afresh as God the Covenant Keeper.
